Job Description

  • Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Leading the nationwide new emerging market sales team to meet the top and bottom-line target achievements for the product.
  • Manage relationship with external and internal stakeholders to achieve the business strategies.

1. Ensure recruitment of budgeted manpower across new emerging locations.
2. Identify further new locations / geographies for expansion of LAP business across country, present the same to management along with business protentional & plan for necessary approvals.
3. Constantly create & Increase distribution across new emerging locations to ensure achievement of business / revenue targets.
4. Formulation and implementation of sales promotion strategies as per the requirement of locations
5. Liaison with Risk / Technical / Product & Credit team for building relevant policies for development of business across these new emerging locations.
6. P&L responsibility, which Includes book building, managing operational efficiency, maintaining quality of portfolio
7.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts basis the potential of the location.
8. Allocation of monthly targets for each region/area/branch for each product in the product mix and ensure implementation of the monthly sales plan.
9. Manage and develop the reportees to take on higher level and challenging jobs in the function
10. Manage key variables like rates, pf, payouts and deviation approvals for the product
11. Monitor and analyze performance metrics including manpower productivity and suggest/ implement improvements
12. Liaison with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
13. Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are updated on the same
14. Ensure 100% adherence to Legal, Audit and Compliance norms for the department.
